Your data on autopilot.

A local visual data orchestrator built on DuckDB. Draw each process as a map of SQL nodes, schedule it and let it run on its own. All from your desktop.

Boards

Understand the process at a glance.

A board is a control panel per process: sales, inventory, reports. Each node reads like a card, not like code, and arrows document how they relate. Each node runs on its own schedule.

  • Scheduled or manual nodes
  • Run any node with one click
  • Full-screen presentation mode
Scheduling

Schedule without writing cron.

Pick every X minutes, daily, weekly or monthly with a visual builder. Already fluent in cron syntax? Advanced mode accepts expressions in that same format. And each node decides who to notify and when.

  • Email alerts through your own SMTP
  • Native system notifications
  • Always, only on failure or only on success
Features

Everything a data process needs.

No servers to maintain, no services to pay for.

Boards and nodes

One board per process. Each node is a SQL query with a name, color and icon. No YAML, no config files.

Visual scheduling

Every X minutes, daily, weekly or monthly with a visual builder. Prefer cron-style expressions? Use them, or run manually.

Commands before or after

Python, PowerShell or any command, in order, around your query. Output is kept in the history.

Reads almost anything

CSV, Parquet, JSON, Excel, APIs, Postgres, MySQL and SQLite in a single query.

Run history

Status, duration, error and output of every run. Filter by board, status and date.

Secrets vault

Use {secret:KEY} and Waddle injects the real value at run time. Share queries, not keys.

Alerts

Email through your SMTP or system notifications. Always, only on failure or only on success.

Widget home

Totals, latest runs, timings, board shortcuts and one-click node runs.

Data explorer

Opens the official DuckDB UI to browse tables and results.

Export and import

Share complete processes between machines, with no credentials inside.

Runs in the background

Close the window and Waddle keeps working from the system tray.

Spanish, English and Portuguese

Available for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Use cases

If it fits in a SELECT, Waddle automates it.

CSV to Parquet every night

A folder of CSV files becomes analysis-ready Parquet, hands-free.

COPY (SELECT * FROM 'ventas/*.csv')
TO 'ventas.parquet' (FORMAT parquet);

Monday report

Join sales, inventory and an API into one table that lands in your inbox.

SELECT v.sku, v.total, i.stock
FROM ventas v JOIN inventario i USING (sku);

Detect anomalies

A query flags out-of-range values and triggers a script, an alert or the next node.

SELECT * FROM pedidos
WHERE monto > 3 * (SELECT avg(monto) FROM pedidos);

Backup from S3

Download a backup every hour and restore it locally, automatically.

CREATE OR REPLACE TABLE respaldo AS
SELECT * FROM 's3://bucket/backup.parquet';
Security

Your data stays with you.

Waddle has no server and no accounts. What you process lives on your disk, truly encrypted.

100% local

No server, no cloud. Your data never leaves your machine.

No accounts

No sign-up, no remote login, no telemetry on your data.

SQLCipher + Argon2

The app database is encrypted with a key derived from your password.

AES-256-GCM

Attachments are encrypted. Lock screen on launch.

Personalization

Eight ducks, eight themes.

Each theme is named after a duck species and works in dark, light or automatic mode, following your system. Try them here: the page changes with you.
